The YES Partnership (Youth Employment Strategy) is a Charitable Organisation and was the brainchild of Norma Green.

Many people can spot a need, recognise an opportunity or have a good idea. But very few have the ability, drive and experience to turn them into reality. Norma is one of those few.

Without Norma’s vision the YES Partnership might have remained just a good idea. Instead, she has guided YES through its birth, infancy and childhood to a point where it is able to stand on its own two feet. And like any good parent, she has recognised its coming of age and is standing aside to let others guide YES through the next chapter in its life, She now passes the baton to a new Chairman Pesh Kapasiawala.

The aim of the Charity is to motivate and encourage students to have an awareness of how to improve their employability skills. We do this by working with students from Years 9 and 10 with two Conferences. Motivation Conference for Year 9 students and a World of Work (WOW) Conference for Year 10 students. YES works with six schools across the Epping Forest District and has recently incorporated two Harlow Schools into the programme.
