The YES Partnership (Youth Employment Strategy) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
Our aim is to motivate and encourage students to have an awareness of how to improve their employability skills. We do this by working with students from Years 9 and 10 with two Conferences. Motivation Conference for Year 9 students and a World of Work (WOW) Conference for Year 10 students. YES works with six schools across the Epping Forest District and has recently incorporated two Harlow Schools into the programme. (See list
below).
YES is a voluntary organisation comprising a Committee of personnel from Local Government, Youth Services, Industry, Finance, and Education. For our Conferences we rely on the goodwill and time provided by a group of volunteers many of whom are in full time employment, who give a day to support the young people as Facilitators at the Conferences. We also have an extensive range of representatives from a wide range of Businesses who share their expertise with the students at the WOW Conferences.
The YES Partnership is grateful to the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel who sponsor and subsidise the Conferences enabling us to provide an excellent venue for the young people to experience for the day.
Our website is kindly sponsored by Epping Forest District Council.
